At Apex Experts, our nurse expert witnesses are senior, practising clinicians registered with the NMC, who provide reports, statements and court testimony on the standard of nursing care in clinical negligence, coronial, or regulatory proceedings.

Fee estimates are provided when we confirm an expert’s suitability for a case, and we’re always happy to discuss tailored arrangements to suit the specific needs of each case.

All expert instructions should be made through Apex Experts. This ensures we can carry out the necessary conflict checks, manage secure data handling, and provide full administrative and legal support throughout the process.

  1. Submitting your CV and registration details

  2. An informal discussion with our Director, William Green

  3. Attendance at one of our expert witness training days

  4. Signing a consultancy agreement — you remain self-employed

  5. Being introduced to clients and receiving case instructions through Apex

 

All experts are fully supported throughout the process with access to our secure systems, case management team, and guidance on report writing and legal duties.
